Several KBL teams will bring back familiar faces for the 2026-27 season after re-signing key Asian quota players.
 

Anyang Jung Kwan Jang announced the return of Filipino wing Rhenz Abando, who will remain with the club for another season. Abando first joined the team in 2022 and played a key role in team's championship-winning campaign during the 2022-2023 season. After a brief departure, he returned to Anyang last year and averaged 7.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists across 48 games in 2025-2026.

Daegu KOGAS will also bring back Filipino guard SJ Belangel for the 2026-2027 season.

Since joining KOGAS in 2022, Belangel has become one of the team's key guards. He averaged a career-high 15.8 points and 4.7 assists in 53 games last season.

While several clubs prioritized retention, Suwon KT took a different approach by adding a new Asian quota player. KT signed Miguel Oczon, who spent the previous three seasons with Ulsan Hyundai Mobis. Oczon averaged 6.3 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists over 77 career KBL games. Last season, he connected on 1.9 three-pointers per game while shooting 40.5% from beyond the arc.

With the 2026-2027 season approaching, KBL teams continue to shape their rosters, with several organizations choosing stability through key Asian quota re-signings while others look to strengthen their lineups through new additions.
